For the 5th European Music Workshops in the "House of Music" Le Kleebach (Alsace, France) in August 2013, we introduce two new instructors and one completely new course. Both new members of the team are highly experienced teachers who promise to contribute fresh impulses to the event.

In response to numerous requests from students and their spouses, we are for the first time offering a vocal class with Jasmin Dazert, a trained singing teacher who graduated from the Vocational School of Music in Dinkelsbühl and the Bartholdy College in Leipzig. She impressed both instructors and students at last year's European Music Workshops and we've invited her back this year to teach.

Yogi Jockusch, the no. 1 percussionist of the Hamburg musical scene (Tarzan, The Lion King, Dirty Dancing, Mamma Mia and many more) and a highly regarded live and studio musician with hundreds of recording credits to his name, will be taking over the cajon class. Martin Röttger, who has been with us from the beginning, has regretfully had to withdraw from this great event due to other committments.

Steve, Dave, Yogi and Jasmin have been performing professionally for many years and all have extensive teaching experience. Their classes will combine practical and theoretical instruction with ample opportunity for sessions in the evenings. The event will culminate in a full evening concert featuring students and instructors on Saturday, August 10th.

In 2012 attendance reached an all-time high with more than 50 registrations. As well as many familiar faces, we were able to welcome a large number of new ones and spend five days together, celebrating the joys of handmade music in a perfect location. The beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodation, delicious food and affordable prices in conjunction with exceptionally musician-friendly conditions once again offered an ideal setting for the event and we're already looking forward to the next one. We hope to see you there!

Please note: Our limited contingent of single rooms is already fully booked.
